@KirstenDunstFan As a matter of fact, there 'were' close-up shots of Kirsten Dunst nude in Melancholia. In the bathroom scene, her complete backside is shown and also there's a shot of her breasts up close, and on the river scene, they close up on her in that scene that shows off her breasts very well. Not sure what version you saw. Maybe just the red band trailer because there was a lot more nudity in the film than what you suggested.

@KirstenDunstFan Then watch or look for the shot in All Good Things where she's topless in a shower scene with Ryan Gosling. She is comfortable with nudity but only if it's the right film and director. She has said this many times in magazine articles.

I was sad that we didn't see Kirsten nude up close, instead all we got was a far away shot of her lying down near a river embankment and also in the bathroom next to the bath where we only saw a side boob. Oh well maybe future movies she will feel more confident about showing herself. Not that this was the only reason to watch it of course lol. Great movie indeed
