Max Payne: Review By SCREENWRITER

THE OLD REVIEW 4.5 STARS:

Okay so i just saw Max Payne at my friends house and let me just say one thing...its awesome! Not just visually, but the plot is fun and really interesting to watch. Now, Max Payne may not be EXACTLY like the video game but it connects a little. Like the demon imagery, thats not in the game. Even though i found the demon visuals awesome, i still wish that they stuck to the real story. But that didnt ruin the movie for me! Not one bit! Some people told me that Max Payne was stupid and it really wasnt worth the watch. We'll, i have no idea what there talking about because i thought Max Payne was DEFINATLY worth the watch! lol. Its got everything yea need. Action, great acting, twists, a great ending, dark scenery, and awesome visuals. You couldnt ask for anything else. NOTHING! So i'll say this if you haven't already seen this, if people told you that this was dumb...DONT LISTEN, give it a watch and give it your opinon. Because i ENJOYED this movie VERY VERY much! So see this! RIGHT NOW! Lol.

The acting in this movie is good. You can't expect BAD acting from thee Mark Wahlburg, whose been in movies such as "Invincible", "The Departed", "The Happening", "The Italian Job", "Fear", and many more! Mark has been in some great movies in his carrer and THIS is one of them in my book! Now Mila Kunis is in my opinon a terrible actress. She was on "That 70's Show", a show that she stunk up for all the eight years in was on. She was in the sequal to Christan Bale's "American Pyscho". It just destroyed the amazing version with Bale. She's horrible BUT! However, she actually surprised me with a good performance in the movie. She wasnt the greatest, but she was descent. She did OKAY! lol. Olga Kurylenko is only in about twenty minutes of the movie but she still does an AMAZING job as usual and looks as HOT as ever! lol. She's been in the falls hit "Quantum of Solace" and she was in another video-game hit to the big screen movie called "Hitman" which came out in 2007. Gret job Olga, great job in your twenty minutes. lol. All and all, the acting in this movie is good.

This movie is definatly awesome visually! The way the movie looked, it dark scenery and all the deomon visuals were just awesome to me! 4.5 stars for the visuals, DEFINATLY! The directing in this movie is good as we'll. The movie was directed by John Moore. Now, this movie SHOULD NOT have been PG-13! They said the F word at least four times and the movie is filled with bloody action! I dont know why this was PG-13 but it is NOT PG-13 material. Its R RATED material. BY FAR! But whatever!

All and all, see Max Payne. The movie is really just awesome. If someone said it stunk or it sucks just give it a chance and grade it on your own opinon. I liked it!

THE NEW REVIEW 3 STARS:

A cheesy dark thriller based on the popular video game series. The acting in the film is lacked and the plot is a little too confusing to be understandable. I think the only reason i liked this the first time i watched this was because of the hype. But now, i see Max Payne how it really is: descent and just a 'meh' of a film. Max Payne is not worth the money. Wait for it to be on TV or rent it, its your money.
