What a... original movie. I mean that in a good way, too. This movie is unlike anything you have seen before.

Nicholas Cage is at the top of his game, as a man who has several disorders. If someone has shoes on his carpet, if a door is left open, or if he is outside too long, he will start to freak out. I think it's funny, because this movie is mostly comedy, with a little bit of drama thrown in. Not just Nicholas Cage does a good job, but so does the 14 year old actress, Alison Lohivian. She is very yong, and has much talent. I can see her in roles in the future.

Sometimes, with Ridly Scott movies, I get bored with them. They are boring. But this is probably the mose entertaining film he has directed. Ridly Scott breaks away from his usual blood-soked dramas, and directs a brilliantly funny, and freash comedy!

Ok, so the visuals are not anything to brag about, but it's not suppost to be a Die Hard with fantasic visuals and explosions. It does good with what it's got. Nicholas Cage's house looks the way any clean-freak's house should, along with his partner's house that is a messy pig-sty. That right there is called contrast, which is a visual thing, and it does very well.

A great movie, one of Nicholas Cage's best. A movie that is a must-see!

    So has fan of Nic Cage you would recommend to me that I should put this on my ever so long rent it list. This was suppose to be on Tv last night, but The Redskins/Giants caught my interest and when I tuned to TNT it wasn't even on.

    I was talking mainly about my comments, not my reviews, and like I mention before that would entice me further, and only people who are either on my friends list or have talked to me, read what I write, comment-wise, most people just respond to the last comment, and don't look at others and I'm not the only one nor the last one, but this discussion is over, I'll try not to give away major twist for other movies, in future comments.

    Blizz... Of course we read what you write. We wouldn't have responded so... and you're right.... after two years, I guess all bets are off haha

    But remember also that some people read reviews to see if they would be interested in seeing a movie they never have before... this one is a possiblity since it didn't do that well in the box office. Anyway... it's all good ;)

    True, except for the fact that no one reads your comments. Sure they are extremely long, but I still read them.

    I don't think this movie was much of a big deal when it came out either, or at least not as much as the 2 you listed (Dark Knight, Watchmen).

    If it was a new movie I wouldn't have said it, but its not

    For one, most people don't even read what I write, or comment and quite frankly this isn't that big of a movie, nor that anticipated to ruin this movie for anyone, like The Dark Knight, or A Watchman, two, most people have seen this movie, and for those who haven't, there's a cut off date, where all bets are off, and that's 2 years, which this clearly exceeds, and in addition seeing that comment would make me want to see it even more, if I hadn't, I probably forget what was written when watching the movie until that part came up, or I would have agreed/disagreed with the diagnosis of that twist, three, readers, read at you own risk, I do.

    Blizz... you spoiled the rope-a-dope ending by flat out saying what his daughter (or fake daughter) did. There are some commenters that showed interest in this movie and you gave out important vital information that probably ruined the ending. tsk tsk... Blizz... shame on you haha
