I remember back in 2008 when I saw The Incredible Hulk. There was a surprise cameo appearance by Tony Stark mentioning about putting a team together. First thing that came to my head: "The Avengers" are coming! I also finally watched the post-credits scene in Iron Man that hinted "The Avengers" first. Four years being so excited on what might become one of the greatest superhero flicks of all time came true! My excitement was boosted by the teaser premiere of the movie. Once the next trailer came and it became the most downloaded trailer, I knew we're in for a big box office success. Now, when the film released in the UK, tons of people were calling it fantastic and one of the best superhero films of all time. That's when everybody became curious on how good it is. Everybody was asking "Is it really that good. I was expecting it to be really good, but not a masterpiece.". I said the same thing, but only for a second. This movie is a dream come true for Marvel fans! It's a superhero masterpiece! The action is fantastic! The heroism is marvelous! You'll stand up and cheer throughout the entire movie!

Nick Fury is director of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency. The agency is a who's who of Marvel Super Heroes, with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When global security is threatened by Loki and his cohorts, Nick Fury and his team will need all their powers to save the world from disaster.

To get the story of "The Avengers", you need to watch "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger" to know the conflict of the story. Both really good movies. Once you watch those, you have more excitement on what will be the conclusion in "The Avengers". I like how the moral of this film is the same as "X-Men: The Last Stand". To get it done, you work together. But, of course "X3" was suffering for its lack of adaptation. "The Avengers" gives a more powerful punch to it, though. All of the characters gets their continuation, including Bruce Banner. So sad that Edward Norton couldn't join the team. He was an awesome hulk.

The acting was perfect! Of course, Robert D. jr. cannot be replaced as the Iron Man. He fits the original character's personality so well. Smart and a joker. Mark Ruffalo was a surprisingly good Hulk. He makes himself seem like he's just a regular guy with no powers, but he describes the Hulk as another guy. I loved that. As for the rest, they were wonderful and well fitted for their roll. Not to mention a perfect screenplay for some scenes.

One of the reasons that make this film so heroic was the directing! Joss Whedon (Serenity) makes his second directed film a record-breaking success. He makes the film so wonderful in its heroism. We all know that 360 shot scene with the assembled heroes at the end of the trailer. That became one of my favorite parts for the film's direction and its soundtrack. Hopefully Whedon will return for "The Avengers' sequel".

Now, what mostly made this film so heroic was Alan Silvestri's score! Recently, Alan kind of chose a new theme for his music. His latest soundtracks sound nowhere near different. When I heard about him doing "Captain America" and "The Avengers" I knew he was going to dominate it, because his latest work mostly matches the heroic theme. I mean listen to his latest scores and then go back to listen to "The Abyss". Extreme changes. In "Captain America" it sounded the same as his recent scores, but he gave the hero a theme, which made it awesome! But then came "The Avengers"! He creates the theme music that will forever be memorable in my head. That theme will play in many scenes in the movie and you'll love its appropriate timing!

You have been waiting 4 years for this movie to come to life. Now is the time to experience what you've read in the comics or what you've watched on television. If you're a fan and feeling doubts... then STOP reading my review, get your butt off the chair, and go straight to the movies for some real fun! Marvel's The Avengers starts the summer with an action-packed blast! I'm the MovieWiz, thanks for reading.

@kguy good stuff, man. We'll see about Whedon returning. Like Gary Ross, he'll be looking for the big payday.
