@skywise Green Lantern to me has always been a Marvel character trapped in DC... I was a fan of Mark Strong as Sinestro though... he just was not written correctly... well the whole movie was done poorly... Darkseid should definitely show his face in the first JLA movie, he would make sense with no Batman... end it with my cameo scene with Superman flying into Gotham... The next film is Sinestro plot... and who knows from there... we should be getting paid for this.. haha

@dan1 Standing Ovation for that one man. I couldn't agree more. If they put as much thought into their properties as they do their rollercoasters we could have a whole and complete DC universe.
How badly I wanted Spiderman in Avengers or even Beast. Or how cool to have a cameo from Cyclopse at the headquarters of Avengers offering aid if needed. I mean your right, Marvel unfortunatly was so eager to get movies made in the mid 90's that they sold all their properties and help on to a few that were not thought viable at that time.
I was never much a fan of the Avengers as a kid. It was all those other properties they sold off but I love those Avengers now.
Wheddon's work was amazing. He is a director that can get it done and get it done reasonably priced. He is a very talented writer and that helps a lot too.
When they start throwing names around like Ben Affleck to direct it wreaks of desperation. Yes Affleck is a good director and pretty hot atm but come on. He needs time to mature as a filmaker and find his footing.
I dont know, I am just reiterating what you already said so grandly.
You know, the very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common: they don't alter their views to fit the facts; they alter the facts to fit their views.” Doctor Who
@dan1 Yeah, I even said that maybe a reboot of Batman may not even be needed... I agree with you about doing it the way Marvel did.. There is a reason they did it that way, and that's because it worked...

Is this a question of who I think is the best/strongest or who is my favorite.
The toughest would of course be the Hulk, but my favorites are Hawkeye and the Black Widow.
Also people need to stop praising Joss Wheddon like he's some sort of God. I like him he's a talented writer, but and a good director, but come on he isn't that good. The Avenger's wasn't that well written especially once you get past all the action. In my opinion Ben Affleck is a better feature film writer, a better director and a pretty good actor. Do I want him to do the JLA film no, but that's because I don't think it can work and will bomb.
