Man of the House: Review By Niteowl

Not the best movie ever, but... yeah not the best movie ever.

This was a little seen film, and I can understand why. It was pretty crappy, with the exception of the acting and visuals. The story was just too familiar. A group of college cheerleaders witness a murder, and have to be under close surveillance by a rough cop. The cheerleaders were the funniest part of the movie, because they were such idiots. The cop of course ends up with a professor who works at the college, but its just way too familiar. Tommy Lee Jones plays the cop, and he's okay, he did the best with the little he had to work with. The worst part of the movie is the cop's daughter, who had less expressions than Keeanu Reeves in The Day the Earth Stood Still . Cedric the Entertainer makes a laughable cameo as a cop turned preacher. All in all an okay movie, I would probably give it a 72.3% C. A good movie to catch on t.v. when there's nothing else to watch.

Yeah, judging by those google images, she is by far the prettiest. Thanks for reading.

Cool, I'm definitely going to have to catch up on that one. Sounds pretty cool already--and judging by Neil's short films should come out pretty intense. And Monica Keena is the girl on the back left of the poster. Kind of hard to see--just google her, you'll get better pics. She's been in a handful of flicks most notably being the female lead in Freddy vs Jason, as well as the direct to DVD movie, Crime and Punishment in Suburbia. But yeah, out of all the girls in the movie (I agree that they're not really that good looking), she's by far the best.

Yeah, my picture is of Sharlto Copley from District 9. By the way, which one is Monica Keena. I didn't mean they were all ugly (well most of them looked like they were in their thirties).

Also Niteowl--is that profile picture you're using from that new movie by Peter Jackson/Neil Blomcamp (can't remember how to spell his name) since they ditched on the adaption of "Halo"?

Loved your overall quote for the film... But yeah, didn't care for this one at all. I do however find Monica Keena to be some nice eye-candy here and there.

ALL THE CHEERLEADERS ARE UGLY?! You are somewhat right, I only like one out of all of them, but I guess you didn't see Monica Keena, who is in Freddy Vs Jason as well!

I'd give this a 3 star, for some funny moments, good review.

Forgot to say, all the cheerleaders are ugly, so that sucks too, and the head of the squad is so annoying!
