It was an enjoyable film. Not bad at all. Impressive at best is the casting selection. Watching Pierce Brosnan sing reminded me of "Darby O-gill and the Little People" when Sean Connery sang. Since they were both Bonds at one point in time, I can see the connection.
The Good:
On-Location Filming. In a world of green and blue screen magic, it's refreshing to see a film that was made on location.
Casting. Not that it was difficult for any involved to act like their at a frat party, it was still fun to watch. If anything, it was believable. Who hasn't watched their parents act like kids around old friends?
Visuals. Makes me want to take a vacation. I envy all'yall!
The Bad:
Slow Motion. What's with the random slow-motion scenes? This is a fast-paced, dance-number-rich, musical extravaganza. Save the slow motion for blowing things up, war scenes, and car chases, not for jumping on beds and prancing through archways. What a distraction to the energy that is supposed to be represented.
While not a first choice for many, I would still recommend it, especially if you're a fan of the high-profile cast.
If you change your mind, I'll be first in line!
