Set in the world of male strippers,
Magic Mike is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Channing Tatum (Dear John, Step Up) in a story inspired by his real life. The film follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.

@skywise I've not yet either, but I can't wait. Yeah, I'm a really big Coen Brothers fan. They're not my favorite(s), but they're definitely in my top 5 favorites as far as modern filmmakers go.
I thought A Serious Man was great. I have it as my second-best film of '09 right behind Inglourious Basterds. Even though A Serious Man might be the better all-around film, I thought Basterds was more entertaining. The ending was a bit weird, I'll admit, but I'm guessing it had something to do with Schroedinger's Cat Paradox, which the movie was an allegory for.
