Machete: Review By Metalsfury

The film was what you'd expect from a Robert Rodriguez film. They are bloody and action packed...! Each hold their own and this one is no exception. The Acting is phenomenal by Robert De Niro and to my surprise, Steven "Above The Law" Seagal. Interesting cast with the likes of Danny Trejo's first lead as Machete (He owned that role), Michelle Rodriguez as She', Jessica Alba as Agent Sartana, Jeff Fahey, Cheech Marin, Lindsay Lohan and Don Johnson. The visuals are excellent! Couldn't ask more from those explosions and bullets! Rodriguez has a great eye for direction!! The story is the most interesting because it originated from that of a Grindhouse picture so... that being said there are no limitations on content of what's going. More to the point, this film is not for everyone! If you are squimish or get offended easily then this might not be your movie... Though the story is controversial, its still a great film to get your action fix! Its not meant by any means to be taken seriously, just to enjoy! See Machete...!
