That's basically the feel of this movie. I mean, we live in a world where over the top things, come so commonly, but we welcome it. This movie is different however. It all seems over the top, and unreal, but in all reality everything in this movie is practically real, and doable. That's another thing I love about the die had series. It does such great action, with amazing effects that only get better, and awesome lines, but in the end, its all based in reality. And that's why we loved the first three, and this is definitely no exception.

This time around the story has almost completely destroyed the thought and limitations of terror in a building, or a airport, or train or whatever the hell it can be on, and spread it throughout the the whole country, and cyber network. We start out with a bunch of computer hackers and what not, doing things, for a certain lady over the phone, and being payed for it (in more ways than one). One of these hackers is Mathew Farrel (Justin Long), who is nervous about doing this. We then see a nerd who just finished his work for this lady, whose computer glitches, and upon hitting the delete button, he gets blow to kingdom come, along with his friend.

We then find our guy, John McClane (Bruce Willis) spying on his now grown up daughter, Lucy McClane, wait, I mean, Lucy Gennero (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). He finds he making out with a boyfriend (or not) who wants to see more than just lips. Ya know what I mean? Well, that doesn't sit too good with McClane, so he goes over there, pulls him off of her, and dialogue ensues, that kinda fills us in on how distant his family has grown from him.

He is then contacted by his supeior, telling him to fetch some hot shot hacker, Mathew Farrel. At the same time, terrorists are then sent to go kill Farrel. When John arrives at Ferrel's place, he stops him from pressing the "delete" button, which would then cause his comp to blow up. Therefore the terrorist team goes in to do the job themselves. John then kicks their asses, after a cool gunfight, leaving 3 dead, and two injured, escaping with Farrel.

The leader of this high tech, "circus" is none other than Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant) himself. Along his side is his smart and sexy girlfriend Mia (Maggie Q). They have set into motion a fire sale, which supposedly crushes our countries transportation's, economy/stock market, our air waves, satellites, communications, and even our power. So America is stone cold dead in the water. Unless someone pays up, o stops them. Someone like John McClane. When these two forces get rough, so does the movie, and this is one of the movies, that I can honestly say, barely lets up the action. And it does it while maintaining a good story.

Acting: Bruce Willis is still my favorite action guy, and his awesome character John McClane, is only beat out bu Jason Bourne. He's still got the moves, and still got the jokes. terrorists beware.

I doubted at first, but Justin Long, was a great sidekick. Probably the best in the series to me. he really matured up for this film, so congrats to him.

Timothy Olyphant continues to show his acting is great, in this very sinister, and challengingly ruthless bad guy. I could not see anyone else pulling off Mr. Gabriel.

Maggie Q is more than foxy as the evil sidekick to Thomas Gabriel. Her character Mia, was a great addition to the movie, as was she to look at.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays johns daught. I think she could have done better, but what the hell. She was pretty close, and was hot, so there ya have it. Everyone else did good performances, nothin much to complain about.

The visuals in this movie wee outstanding. The tunnel scene was just heat pounding, and the whole movies had just spectacular, eye canny, explosions, and all. Not to mention the F-35, and highway scene.

Director: The director, Len Wiseman, did a FAN-FRICKING-TASTIC job, of directing this movie. It wasn't easy I bet, and I more than trust him to do a great job on Gears of war.

Altogether, this movie was great, and not the best in the series, but definitely second in my book.

So.. Yippee Kai Yay, Mother fu**er.
