The plot featured a bunch of computer hackers set to start what was referred to in the movie as a "fire sail" which in reality is like taking over ever computer operated mechanism within a certain perameter. The idea of the entire plot was rather believable that should enough thought and time be put into hacking on a centralized basis, something like this COULD very well occur.(obviously with a lil far-fetchedness added by Hollywood for our enjoyment)
Bruce Willlis puts on a performance to remember coming back to star as the infamous John McClain. As was so in the rest of the Die Hard's, Bruce is basically invincible and his character in the movie acts like he damn well knows it.
In addition to that they have incorporated Justin Long into the mix as "Matt", a computer hacker that McClain was ordered to go pick up and bring in for questioning. This is how the two meet. After someone attempted to kill Matt in the early part of the movie, McClain sets out to put a stop to the "fire sail", and inevitably the take over of our entire countries private doc*ments.
As he is in all movies, Long brings in a humor factor that compliments McClain's personality nicely on screen. The two really worked well together on screen with Matt doing the computer and electronics "thing" and McClain doing the fighting and killing "thing".
This movie never stopped throwing action at you, just when you thought you could get out of your seat to take a piss, WHAM, another action scene, it was very enjoyable. Of course a few scenes were hard to believe, as was the fact that McClain destroys almost every vehicle known to man; from a car to an SUV to a Semi, to a helicopter and hell why not, for good measure he takes out a fighter jet as well.
Overall I would give this movie two thumbs up and would highly recommend that any action fans out there pick this movie up, you will not be disappointed.
