Life of Pi: Synopsis

The film is based on Yann Martel's coming-of-age survival tale.

The novel revolves around a youth who is the lone survivor of a sunken freighter and winds up sharing a lifeboat with a hyena, an injured zebra, an orangutan and a hungry Bengal tiger.

    One of the best visual effect i've seen, it's just so great you would want to pause for a second and consume every bit of creativity.

    The acting is good, the story is quite interesting, to the point like letting your mind think which of the two story is true, but then to realized you would prefer the one with the fictional elaborations as it is the one that will ease your mind.

    I was just like disturbed on the ship that sunk. The ship cranes is not rested on where it has to be rested. I mean, i know things on ship operations and that includes, everytime the vessel is enroute, the jib of the crane should always be secured in a horizontal position. Seems like the director overlook that detail.
