It strikes fear into defense attorney's. It shivers the hell outta of the prosecution team. If your a judge, hears some advice, get a new career. If your a criminal, do yourself a favor and kill yourself. Once you see a law abiding citizen, you have no chance in hell of surviving.

F. Gary Gray, the director of great movies, such as Friday and the Negotiator, is the director of this movie. This guy has really grown into one of the great under rated directors. It stars Gerald Butler and Jamie Foxx, who are both wonderful in this movie. Now, I can actually swipe my forehead, because for a while I was really concerned about Gerald Butler. Although I despised 300, I wanted to see him really breakout as this next big action star, but after that he started doing movies like P.S. I love You and the Ugly Truth, but now, it looks like he's back on the right track.

Law Abiding Citizen is about a man who, ten years after his wife and daughter are brutally murdered, returns to make the entire justice system pay and does he ever. Gerald Butler, the law abiding citizen, is pissed off of how the city and the justice system works. Unlike most people who just bitch about things wrong with the government and do nothing, this guy goes on a all out war on the entire state government. Basically, if your a lawyer, crook, mayor or anything else involved in the justice system, your done and that's it.

The script is written very well with great dialogue, all thanks to Kurt Wimmer. He writes such an intense, thrilling movie that keeps your eyes glued to the screen. Also, this movie is very depressing in a good way. This is one of the best movies to come out of this terrible fall season of movies.
