Lake Placid 2: Review By Shelley

Since I am a fan of the original Lake Placid and own the DVD, I went ahead and bought this one on clearance for $2.00. I kind of figured going in that it was going to be pretty bad considering sci-fi channel aired it originally.

I think this movie would have been a lot better had the special effects been at least a little realistic. As with most 'made for sci-fi' movies, they were really fake looking. The only reason I gave the visuals .5 stars is because the lake and surrounding areas are beautiful.

I recommend you see this film only if you are curious, otherwise I would pass.
