Juno: Review By FILMFANATIC

after being put off by a very misleading trailer i decided to view this film and what a film it was!!!

wonderful performances by the young leads and supported by an array of talent to produce a little film that will certainly be big in 2008;no wonder this film is up for awards!!

from kitty pryde in the x-men 3 movie to a child man-eating seducer in the film hard candy,ellen page has certainly come of age with this movie and truely is an up-coming talent to watch over the next few years and beyond.

the film itself,covering the themes of teenage pregnancy,abortion,adoption,relationships,acceptance in society in an ever-increasingly violent and cruel world.(a true-to-life portayal that will make people think and reflect on life and the lives in which they lead).

the film is a white knuckle ride and a half for the emotions and as you go up and down i'm sure if you delve deeper into the story i'm sure that many can relate to the characters or have done so at some point in their lives.(hankies at the ready as this little heart-warming film will gently tug on the heart strings of many!!(...whether tears of joy or not this will stir those with a heart and those who have a tendency to shed a tear or two while watching a film).
