Let me just say, that if it wasnt for Anita Briem's "talents" I wouldnt be recommending this at all!

No, Im joking even without them I still would...I mean without her. Anyhow, Journey to the Center of the Earth is kind of like one of those favorite grandpa stories that you want to hear over and over again. The story is fictional, but centers very well with this film mainly because we're NOT suppose to take this very seriously. It is alot of fun to watch all the different creatures located in the center of the earth. It sort of felt like the Peter Jackson version of, King Kong were we see all these great types of monsters. Except Jackson's creatures were better detailed. the acting was good and some of the jokes have their purpose. The visuals were great, but without 3D it loses its intentions.

The one thing I didnt like was the directing in this film. The scenes felt cut way to quick. It felt like the story was being rushed.

Overall, I say this is a fun flick to watch on a weekday...like I did. If you have a chance to watch this in 3D dont miss out on it!
