Jackass 3D: Review By fanboy

If you have ever watched the Jackass TV show or have seen the first two movies in the Jackass franchise then you know what to expect from Johnny and the gang. But if somehow you have missed out on Jackass before you might want to prepare yourself for some of the most outrageous, outlandish and over the top stunts and pranks.

Jackass 3D is not your typical movie, for it does not include some mind bending storyline or eye popping visual effects but instead is full of random stunts preformed by the Jackass crew that will leave you laughing your ass off and/or puking in your popcorn bucket (depends on how you stomach things). But just because Jackass 3D doesn't have a deep plot behind it doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out. For all of the stunts are not what you would see on youtube, but are even more crazy and f*cked up then you could imagine which brings us to the point. Why would you/I even what go to a theater and watch this when it's not "technically" a movie? You would do so for the same reason you would go to a comedy show, to laugh out loud and have a good time. But instead of putting up with a mediocre comedian you get to watch the Jackass crew cry in pain throughout the movie. By the time you leave the theater will be glad you came and watched it for its a movie everyone will be talking about and also a movie that just doesn't compare to other comedy movies out there.

Unlike its predecessors, Jackass 3D was filmed in full 3D (as if the title didn't give that away) which just adds another dimension of fun to this movie. Now normally I don't care for 3D movies, but when I found out that my theater was only showing it in 3D I had very little choice but to see it in its full 3D glory and by the time I walked out the theater I was glad I got the chance to see all the crazy stunts the Jackass crew preformed in 3D, for they pretty much mad the movie for 3D viewing, especially the opening and ending scenes. So if you ever get a chance to watch Jackass 3D in 3D I would recommend you do so.

My closing thoughts is that Jackass 3D is a blast and great fun to watch. And helps give light to a rather dull fall 2010 movie season.
