Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer: Review By Hostile

Jack Brooks Monster Slayer. What can I say. I've been looking forward to this movie for sometime now ever since I read about it on fangoria, and it's def worth the watch. The story starts off with learning why Jack is all angry with life and such, after all that is when the monsters come into play. The movie is and hour and twenty minutes, but only a good twenty minutes of the movie is where Jack kicks ass. The monsters look great though, it's cool that they went 80's style with the whole latex monster thing and not just do CG. Which in my opinion is waaaaay better at times, movies now a days rely WAY too much on CG.

I wish there was alittle more head busting in the movie, and a tad more gore. But other than that I enjoy this monster comedy.
