Iron Man: Review By The Anarchist

It's been quite a while since I last saw this film, but the one thing I remember feeling when I left the theater was: This is the best comic book adaptation I've ever seen! When I went to see it, I was expecting to see a crappy story with bad acting. The movie hadn't been released in the USA, so there were no reviews yet. I was surprised by how good it was, especially by Downey's acting. He didn't just play the character, he OWNED him. My only hope right now is that the Academy will give him some recognition. I'm pretty sure they won't let him win, but he at least deserves a nomination.

N: The negative things:

- The fact that Obadiah Stane was able to use his armour without training in advance.

- I would have really liked to see Iron Man blowing up the tank in the village to the sound of Black Sabbath's Iron Man. That would have made this film perfect.

P: The positive things:

- The acting (Especially Downey)

- The special effects (The suit looks real.)

- The story (It's like an updated warmovie.)

- The dialogues

- Everything else
