After watching this on TV the other day, it brought back memories. It brought back memories of my younger self venturing through the woods and traveling everywhere.I believe this film to be the reason why I love to go on adventures and travel. But back to the point. From beginning to end it's pretty much non-stop action. When even though you don't realize it there are just as many booby traps & hidden passageways prevalent through the film than any of the other two films.I thought it was pretty reminiscent of classic James Bond films in a sense of an agent thwarting an evil genius from world domination or some kind of evil deed, and in a way Indy is an agent whether for a museum or for the university he works for, retrieving artifacts and other things of the sort. This to me was another solid film all across the boards. The story I thought was fit together nicely and was quite sinister at times.Acting was great, Harrison Ford did yet another wonderful job at Indiana Jones, and Jonathan Ke Quan who played Short Round thought he was good but was pretty much there for comic relief, which I liked with his smart funny one-liners, and we can't forget Kate Capshaw who played Willie the musical star. Her role was somewhat annoying, to say the least. With constantly nagging Indy about every little damn thing there is to nag about. So if there are really any draw backs to this film then her performance is the reason. And last but not least, the directing.Who could tell and give you a better than two living legends in the film industry and probably the best there ever will be.GEORGE LUCAS AND STEVEN SPIELBERG!!!!!, even thought Lucas doesn't direct he is a producer and does a damn good job. Both put their great minds together to put out one of the most looked up too and inspiring icons in the film world.I like how both Spielberg and Lucas focus on Indy's search for "Fortune and Glory" and ending up putting his life on the line to help this impoverished little village regain something they had once lost, which I think sends a message as to help others that need help. All in all as you tell I enjoy this movie greatly as I do pretty much with every film I watch. It brings back old childhood memories and to a time which I enjoyed greatly.I know some parts of this review may irrelevant, but bare with me, this is only the second movie review I've ever done!So for those who haven't seen it, which I think is very little, do!You will enjoy ever minute of it.Thank you.
