Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: Review By hyperion25

Though it is nowhere near as good as Raiders or Last Crusade, I thought Crystal Skull was a worthy addition to the Indiana Jones series. This is not to say the movie is without problems.

I was so happy to see that they kept the old paramount logo that faded into a scene, just like the old movies, but my happiness was soon diminished as a CGI prairie dog pops up on screen for no reason at all, seriously, it looked stupid as hell. I loved the old movies because they were filled with awesome practical effects, no CGI bullsh*t. This movie had its fair-share of good ole fashion practical effects but I felt they overdid the CGI at certain parts.

The movie had some of the best action sequences of the series. I loved the motorcycle chase and the warehouse chase but the chase through the jungle got a little ridiculous with the Shia-Tarzan sh*t.

I know alot of people are bitching about how "weird" it was, but I thought it was alright. It's kinda hard to top what the series has already covered and I think the whole *SPOILER* supernatural alien approach *SPOILER* worked quite well. Definitely worth seeing in theaters.
