Inception: Review By WiseGuy

Inception is one of the best films Ive seen in quite some time. It is a movie that you will not get bored with and that constantly holds your attention and makes you think, while never failing to entertain. Exhilarating, breathtaking, heart pounding, mind blowing, amazing, brilliant, creative, original, exceptional, incredible, exciting, fascinating, intense, and complex are words that describe Inception. It is the best film of the year and Nolan's best film and possibly (probably) his true masterpiece. It is unlike any movie that you will ever see (although some of the action scenes has a Matrix kind of style to it). It took 10 YEARS for Christopher Nolan to write the script and I could see why just because of the complexity of the plot. I'm not going to get into the whole depth or complexity of it because anyone reading this either already saw it or know what it's about. This man is a genius, and the most original, creative, and intelligent filmmaker that you could find in the world of movies. His movies just get better and better. Its seems that it's impossible for him to make a bad film. Every actor shines in their roles in the film, and it is just phenomenal to watch. Leo is fantastic as always, really bringing his character to life. You can see a similarity of his character Cobb here to his character of Teddy in Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island. The cast is perfect, another word to describe the film. Actually, not perfect, every movie has at least some flaws but some have very little. And Inception is the closest to flawless. In a summer and year full of remakes, reboots, and sh*tty sequels (besides Toy Story 3, the second best film of the year); Inception shines as a summer blockbuster that actually makes you think and has its share of action as well and oh man are they awesome. Trust me, it is a movie, an experience that you do not want to miss out on, literally viewers do not want to miss a minute of this thrill ride because when you come back to your seat you will be asking the person next to you "What the f*ck is going on?" All in all, I (and others will agree with me) think that everyone should give Inception a shot because I will be shocked if you do not enjoy it.
