I walked in to this one with high expectations. I was talking about it for weeks since I saw the first trailer for it months ago. I sat down in the back row, blinking constantly, my heart was racing. I've never felt so anticipated for film in my life, maybe a little for The Dark Knight, but ya get the point.
Christopher Nolan. Not only my favorite and all-time favorite director now, and will be for the rest of my life, has pretty much sealed the deal in film-making. Right at the end of Inception, my heart sank, pounding, a tear in my eye. I thought to myself, "Holy f'n cow". What a great movie. But then I thought, "was this Christopher Nolan?" I was right of course, a slap in the face.
Nolan, I believe, is the greatest director to ever touch a god damn camera, let alone, even right a f'n script for a proposed film. Oscar? Hell yeah! Now I'm starting to sound like a 13 year-old, but god damn it, this film literally took my brain and flipped it upside dowm. No film I have ever seen or experienced has done that. This one is the first one, and probably the only one. I walked out of that theater with a throbbing head ache for two hours, thats how mind blasting it was.
The movie itself I figured out and solved right about at the end. It is extremely confusing, and at times you need real brain power to understand. But, enough said. it truely was a masterpiece. It's original, conceptual (yeah, conceptual), and heart-racing. Every moment you see with your naked eye is a stab in the head. How the hell can anyone get you that into a single movie? Yeah, i'll tell ya: Chris Nolan.
5/5
Go and experience this movie, if you don't I dunno why the hell you're reading this and not seeing it, for crying out loud, you'll buy the dvd the second it hits the shelves.
Mindblowing story, action, drama, and effects. The greatest brain twister in cinema history. Well, that's just my opinion. Everything about it: acting, ACTORS, the special effects, the plot from beginning to end, was fantastic. The whole "dream" idea was perfection. I don't think any other film in my lifetime will capture such a raucous and unbelievable experience layed out before me, then Inception has.
