Wow ... Where to begin?

Let me tell you guys, I did not think that a movie could capture and intrigue me on a level that is like, or even exceeds, The Dark Knight, but director Christopher Nolan has proved himself with this movie: Inception.

I would like to give a plot summary, but there is sooo much to say. I don't really think I can give a summary in a way that you would understand it. The only thing I can say for sure, is you need to see this movie. I mean that . . . YOU NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! Reading about it will not suffice. It has so much going on in it, that it needs to be seen, not explained. It is obvious that Christopher Nolan has worked a lot on this movie, and he goes full out, just as he did in The Dark Knight.

The acting among these people is phenomenal. I don't normally watch Leonardo DiCaprio movies, because I didn't really like him in Titanic. But here, you can tell how good he can be. I liked the group of people they chose to carry out Inception. These people DO look like they know what they're doing when they're on the job (If you know what I mean by that). The line delivery is so good. There was not one character or actor on screen that I didn't like. Fantastic job to everyone on screen.

The writing: Wow!! It is nearly flawless. Almost everything fits together perfectly, which goes back to me saying that Christopher Nolan has spent a lot of time on this movie. The only thing that didn't make sense to me was that Mal (DiCaprio's wife in the movie) always appears in everyone's dreams, but no one else brings their own personal problems with them. There is a way I heard as to how that can be explained, but I don't want to go into it with this review. Outstanding; more original than any movie that has come out this year so far. Props to you Christopher Nolan. Keep it up.

I loved the look of the movie. When they are in the dreams, it looks like a dream. It has its own sets of rules that seem to fit well together. I like the concept that if you die in your dreams, you just wake up (as opposed to A Nightmare on Elm Street, where if you die in your dreams, you die for real). There were three really great moments in the dream-scape that I loved: At the beginning when Leonardo DiCaprio gets kicked into the bathtub to be awoken; When Ellen Page's character is ship-shaping the dream world; and when Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character is fighting the dream people through the rotating hotel hallway. Just outstanding.

I totally recommend this movie. I love it. It is now my second favorite movie of all time (just behind The Dark Knight). Go see it. It's worth the money. Trust me.
