Welcome to a world where time has become the ultimate currency. You stop aging at 25, but there's a catch: you're genetically-engineered to live only one more year, unless you can buy your way out of it. The rich earn decades at a time (remaining at age 25), becoming essentially immortal, while the rest beg, borrow or steal enough hours to make it through the day. When a man from the wrong side of the tracks is falsely accused of murder, he is forced to go on the run with a beautiful hostage.     @huntsman If the movie turns out good and rakes in enough cash they might make a prequel to tell how all this came to be how time became currency and why it happened. i would also like to see why this happened so i do hope they make a prequel

    IN TIME is a very good film but it suffers from a lack of a back story. Like how time became currency. I would have liked to know when it happened, how it happened and why it happened. I they would need is add about three minutes to the beginning of the movie and the movie would be better for it. I would have given the movie 4.5 stars if not close to 5.

    The best thing about the movie was Cillian Murphy who I thought stole the movie. He's a great actor who's been in some great films like 28 DAYS LATER, SUNSHINE, BATMAN BEGINS, and INCEPTION.

    Overall a really good movie I recommend people see.
