I Am Legend: Review By xr1supra85ba

I saw the trailers for the moive on t.v. and thought it would be a good movie, I mean hell, its got Will Smith. Hes come a long way from the Fresh Prince show he did a long time ago. I think hes a good actor, and done pretty good in his movies hes both stared in and had smaller roles/not the main character. I preordered my tickets for openeing night and had some friends of mine say they were interested as well, so we all went. Day of the movie, I hear people have read mixed reviews, so out of curiosity I decided to look it up.

I didnt have to go far, the opening headline on the msn page was about the movie. So I decide to read this review and halfway through, Im starting to question if I should be going. The writer expressed his dislike about all the scenes that jump out and scare the audiance, saying that it had too many of them, and that it drug on for a while, and just wasent that great all together. Well, we go to the movie and its a sold out show.

You need to see this movie! In my opinion absolutely phenominal! The story was great, the acting was just amazing, the whole movie was great. I think this is one of if not the best acting job Will Smith has done. The critics article said it couldnt stand next to Cast Away with Tom Hanks, but in my opinion, it can. Not saying it is or isnt better, but for a single actor by himself in a movie, it was really good.

Will's acting was exceptional throughout. He could make you laugh, feel his stress, his lonlieness, and sadness. The scene with his dog was just heartbreaking. Props to both Will and the director for that scene, they dont show what happnes, but you know and the look on his face, just makes your heart sink. I was surounded by a lot of people crying, and I honestly had a hard time, chokeing it back, the scene right after that especialy, just tears you apart.

So in my opinion this is a phenominal movie and I recomend it to anyone, it may not be for some, but for many, I think they will want this movie on DVD as soon as it comes out, I know I do. Oh, and it makes you want a German Shepard at the end too.
