What a bad movie. The dialogue is so terrible. People don't talk like that & their reactions were unrealistic. Their friend is killed & they barely react to her death. Her boyfriend barely notices. Uwe Boll is a terrible director; he didn't get the actors to do a very good job. Except for the ship captain, the men in the film suck at acting. The women did the best they could with the terrible script which isn't Uwe Boll's fault. Some other person contributed to this waste of time.

I only watched this movie to see Erica Durance in it. She's wasn't in the movie very long & it was before she gained weight or got implants & not worth sitting through. It's too bad that Ona Grauer didn't have the nude scene instead.

For a zombie movie it had a surprising amount of action. The rotating camera shot was over done, not every character needed it. The matrix-style shots were a welcome relief from the really annoying shots of the actual video game that would flash on the screen between scenes. There was a part of the film where they walked down a narrow corridor which would have been the perfect time for some first-person perspective, but they just couldn't do it & kept showing us the characters along with more game footage. It was frustrating to watch.

It's sad that this movie sucks because the DVD extras show all the work that went into making this movie by all the other people behind the scenes who did their best but they were let down, like I was, by the director, screenwriter & male actors.
