The best action-comedy, with mystery, I've seen yet. The best British film and (without a doubt) one of the best comedies I've ever seen. 'Hot Fuzz' has some of the smartest sense of humor in the perfect timing, in the perfect situations, without any used jokes repeating itself, and not just all fat guy jokes (from what I thought it would be). There is only one fat guy joke in this two hour and one minute long film and it's the funniest scene because of the timing and situation. It's brilliantly hilarious!

There only a few jokes in the film that you might have to be British to understand those few jokes, but it's too funny to even notice that those British jokes are there. You might just be laughing to another scene that happened or might be very interested into the plot. You might find that 'Hot Fuzz' makes some parodies of some other action/comedy films. The only film I found 'Hot Fuzz' making a parody of in a scene or to is 'Bad Boys II', but 'Bad Boys II' was one of the worst action-comedies ever made. For your information (by fact) 'Hot Fuzz' isn't anything like 'Bad Boys II' PERIOD! 'Hot Fuzz' isn't only clever with its remarkable sense of humor, but when it comes to the mystery and the plot as well, 'Hot Fuzz' gets more tremendous.

A London cop named Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is at the top. While the rest of his police team a being lazy in their work. Nicholas gets sent to Sandford stuck with his new chubby buddy, Danny Butterman (Nick Frost). Danny seems to ask Nicholas random questions, but questions that make sense. Nicholas seems to be annoyed by Danny asking questions, but does his best being nice to Danny.

While Nicholas and Danny spend their time in Sandford, a couple of actors from a play are killed. It calms to be an accident by the townspeople, but Nicholas doesn't buy that. He knows it was somebody that had to be responsible for the deaths and no accident. Especially when there more and more unusual deaths happening while townspeople still calm the deaths to be accidents. So Nicholas and Danny stop the murders from happening once Nicholas catches the murderer.

If I went any further than that, than I'd spoil the rest of the film. You'd have to see 'Hot Fuzz' for yourself. 'Hot Fuzz' is the must-see action-comedy. It's a blast!

Well truthfully this is my favorite action/comedy.

Good review. I didn't get as much enjoyment out of it as you did, mostly because I thought the build up to his stand off with the locals took too long. I kept thinking to myself "get on with it!".

Not really parodying 'Bad Boys II. Thats not what I meant to say. I meant to say it kind of reminded of it. My bad.
