this is just a slow moving and boring oscar - wannabe and it does start out kinda interesting but it just goes straight into boredom . the only good thing was adrien brody and i thought he was just okay because theres just somethig about him that he can play a pretty good detective . so its pretty much about ben affleck trying to get an oscar , and he gets shot (and people care?) and addrien brody is obsessed with finding out the truth behind his death . overall , this is just a bullsh*t movie

I wasn't crazy about the cast either. Though I was interested in the story as there's always been speculation surrounding his death, but never a flick on it. Though I'm not a fan of anyone in the film. If it's as bad as you say, then that's probably why this 3.5yr old film hasn't aired on television yet. Or they thought it was too good for it. lolz (doubtful).

Funny thing cuz "The Black Dahlia" came out around the same time with an unimpressive cast which turned the intriguing case into a 2hr borefest. Also a period piece. Funny how two of them get released in like, the same month and were both expected to be BP nominees, but instead tanked in theaters.

I think this film was a perfect example of people trying too hard to impress. I agree, boring film.

It was slow, but this is a plot thick story, not a action extravaganza. I think you people should know what type of movie a movie is when you go see it. No offense but I know you can do better man.
