Hellboy II: The Golden Army: Review By RingWraither

Next time they make another Hellboy movie..I hope it takes less than 4 years.

Hellboy 2 was on my top 5 to see this summer, and I have to say this was one of the most fun times Ive had this summer. Del Toro has made Hellboy into one of my favorite franchises ever! I liked how the story began with John Hurt telling the story of the Golden Army. The story kept me interested and Im glad they had somewhat of a love interest for Abe. The Hellboy and Liz relationship is believable and more than average. We also get some hilarious laughs which makes me like the movie even more. The visuals are top rate here especially the huge green plant. Awesome job!! We get to see the softer side of Hellboy which I think its very well done and very well paced. I have to say that the fight scenes between Hellboy and Prince Nuada are one of the best Ive ever seen. Prince Nuada was actually the most interesting character besides Hellboy, great great villain! The new addition to the team; Johann Kraus is pretty interesting too.

I just really hope they dont take 4 more years to make another Hellboy movie. But, since Del Toro might be doing The Hobbit soon...yeah 3-4 years most likely. Overall, the action is great! The visuals are top notch! Directing is perfect! And the acting is solid. Awesome summer movie!
