This artsy, flamboyant musical actually hits a nerve. I can't say I liked it, or even enjoyed it. It's one of those rare movies that you're really glad you saw after it's over, but you know you could go the rest of your life without ever having to see it again. If someone asks, "Want to come see Hedwig?" I'd tell them no, but they should definitely go. It's worth a look, and a couple of laughs.
