Robert Marling (Martin Donovan) is an architect who had it all... a beautiful wife (Joanna Going) and perfect son. Addicted to booze and gambling, his perfect life is slipping away. His wife is divorcing him and he is slipping deeper into the pool of his addictions. As his life begins slipping away, he is drawn to a club called The Paradise and an exotic transsexual stripper named Heaven (Danny Edwards).
Heaven's disturbing psychic visions of the future include the architect, who doesn't at first believe. However, the psychiatrist that is seeing both Marling and Heaven believes the prophecies and uses them for his own financial and romantic gains, including sleeping with Marlings's estranged wife. As love and money entangle Heaven, Marling and the others, they are drawn on a collision course at The Paradise where a violent and tragic climax explodes. More »
