The ride is both funny and scary...silly and spooky...Hopefully they can maintain an equal balance between the two without trying too hard to be funny (like the 1st) and without trying too hard to be scary. Guillermo seems to have a good knack for making movies that are genuinely creepy. As a fellow "Doombug", whether Guillermo writes AND Directs it or just writes, I think he'll stick around the set to make sure that they do the franchise justice. He's a huge fan himself, so he'll be shooting for the same thing the rest of us are hoping for.

If eddie is in it, dont bet on it being scary, the dudes not a horror guy. , it will b a comedy (which suxs) for such a name like "the haunted mansion"

I bet this'll have potential to be better then the 2003 Disney Haunted Mansio movie. Also, hopefully this one will be scary.
