brilliant character development and plot development but a struggle to stay awake through one of the summer's blockbusters

Ok, where do we begin with this film...

Ok i ain't read the book, so therefore i'll be reviewing this in critique as a film person.

Ok this film starts off very exciting, what with the whole millenium bridge collapsing

And ends with the death of a main character, that when he dies, you really feel no emotion, you really just don't care, when Dumbledore gets it.

So for people intending to think they are going to see the most finest action packed HP film yet... Think again

Steve Kloves (writer of the first 4 HP films) has created what seemingly was meant to be the best HP yet, but on the action side it fails to deliver dramtically, while being bombarded with character development, and feels like its just really too long.

The character development and plot development within this film, while brilliant, partially developes also at a very slow pace, just begging for you to want the film to be over.

So well what has this film to offer, nothing great in particular, with spectacular visuals, a very well character and plot development, but failling in the action side, with preferably at least 10 mins action max out of 2hrs 33mins.

A powerful performance by its cast especially that of Tom Felton, Michael Gambon & Alan Rickman and Helena Bonham Carter being crazy as usual.

While i would have liked to see more of Voldemort's backstory, which this movie failed to deliver, i found the role of Hero Fiennes Tiffin (Ralph Fiennes) son role to be quite enthrilling as kid voldemort, for those who aren't aware Ralph Fiennes plays Voldemort in the previous films.

As praise can go to Tim Burke & Tim Alexandra and Chris Hovarth for their excellent SFX visuals.

The 6th installment of this 8 part series has a brilliant character, emotionally and very plot-driven plot, while some things are left missing and the climax is very unsatisfying, it leads you in hold for the next 2 installments that will consist of the last book.

In brief

This film felt like the Casino Royale of Harry Potter movies, but just fails to make great expectations, but maybe that's because i ain't a reader of the books

THANKS FOR READING :)
