As the war begins, emotions and action run high. What makes Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 such a great movie, and the best movie of the series, is that you feel for the characters like loved ones. When a character dies, it's as if you've lost a loved one fighting over seas. You go with these characters on their journey to, like the message says, overcome the darkest of times.

Story: In Deathly Hallows: Part 2 The trio returns to Hogwarts in order to eliminate the remaining Horcruxes that keep Voldemort immortal. As the story progresses, Harry begins to discover why he's the chosen one, what Snape's all about, and more importantly, how to destroy Voldemort once and for all. The grand reveal isn't too confusing and might come as a shock to people, but more importantly, it will make you an emotional wreck. DHP2 is a train ride of tears and cheers, but you'll leave with the best kind of satisfaction someone could ask from a movie.

Acting: The performances in Deathly Hallows are what make the film so incredible. I praise Alan Rickman's performance in the telling of Snape's past. After playing an angry, monotone character for 7 films, it was incredible to watch him switch into a character so over weighed with emotion and depth. He allows us to feel his pain with him. Ralph Fiennes and Daniel Radcliffe also do excellent jobs with their characters, bringing fear and bravery to the screen. Daniel perfectly executes a hero we all want and need while Ralph shows that those with no heart still have fear.

Directing/Visuals: David Yates, director of the last 5 movies, has learned from his mistakes from critics and fans and has turned Deathly Hallows: Part 2 into a roller coaster ride. Unlike other films, not a lot is skipped over or rushed. Despite being the shortest film in the series, everything that needs to be known is know. All the loose ends are tied up. Yates gives the audience enough time cry, applaud, laugh, shake, and drop their jaws at the beautiful art direction. Deathly Hallows moves from a dark beginning to the brightest of all endings. The Battle of Hogwarts is stunning. The spell casting is gorgeous and the sets bring a dark tone to the film, as if your home were destroyed. Deathly Hallows is certainly one of the most magical films of all time.

Overall, Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is a more than satisfying conclusion to the 10 year empire. You'll walk out feeling proud, as if you won a war all on your own. It's sad to say good-bye, especially when they saved the best for last. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 gets a 5 out of 5.

@ROFLitschristian This is exactly how I felt when watching this film! Great choice for a great first review :) Your technique is nice, in which you seperate each category and break it down. I like that.
