Hancock: Review By CloudZeroX

I wanted to see this film bad, I thought it would hold me over for a good film after Iron Man, until my long wait for The Dark Knight!

uh...not so much, the story was pretty solid other than there isn't a lot of back story about why or how he got his powers (as in other superhero films)

Acting was great, Will Smith was great as always. Charlize Theron, hot! and a great actress.

Directing was ok, I would have opt'ed to add some back story. I have heard of a lot of people complaining that it took a big turn from comedy to serious. I got that from the trailer and if you didn't then you are stupid. It did just that he was a drunk f*cking up the city then he stops and it shows it where the say "I think Hanc*ck is down" you can see the shift in the trailer!

Visuals were good, which isn't surprising with today's graphic capabilities.

If there would have been a main villian and some back story it would have been great, but with its lack of both it gets a good and a 3.5 from me.
