Much better than I was expecting but still there are some flaws.

A different take on the slasher classic, I respect what Zombie's trying to do, but I didn't care to see Michael Myers' childhood character study. The cast and acting are outstanding and the gore is top notch. However no movie remake will never match the great work of the orginal. This film is more on par with H20. As far as slasher movies go this is better than average.
