the movie was not good. It is meant for all people, straight or not. I want to thank Vamp. for making another review and making it better than my own. Im sorry but i just thought the movie was too weird, having John Travolta turned into a chick and being married to Christopher Walken. Anyhow i also did not like some of the casting people.

The plot was not anything special and I prefer Shia Labeouf and the whole Indy 4 movie rather than this movie and most movies about the 1950s.

In all, i give this movie a 1.5 for the visuals, casting, and everything else all together.

    I can't believe you actually saw this movie.\

    As for John Travolta being the wife, that was a nod to Divine of the original, who was a crappy '80s dragqueen movie star wannabe that garnered attention for her--uh, I mean, HIS, lifestyle. Divine was the reason that the original was memorable, and why the movie gained a cult following, despite being based a play or something, and is also why they remade it at all.

    Yea it's alright, I know that the idea of it being a musical drove people away, as well as the fact that John Travolta played a woman. In fact, I myslef did not want to see this movie, but was forced to in my chorus class. I was actually surprised. I really liked it.

    yea, sorry vamp. i thought it was terrible. i was changing the channel on the tv and they were showing it on HBO. i saw a part of it and it was crap. no offense.
