Harper Sloane (Polley) was like most young college graduates, insecure and unsure of her professional future. As indecision was not an option in the Sloan family, Harper had simply ceded to the expectation that she would be attending Harvard Law School. She meets Cornelius Fitzpatrick (Rea), the photographer at her sisters wedding and is unwittingly swept off her feet by the charming Irish bohemian who is thirty years her senior.
