I thought Gran Torino was an excellent film for the age 79 actor / director Clint Eastwood. He still captures the audience with that cool, rough anti-hero character that made him famous from Dirty Harry to Josey Wales. Once again he is an Oscar contender for Best Actor for this role of Walter Kowalski.

In this film he plays a disgruntled Korean War vet who befriends a Vietnameese family living next door and becomes a role model to the boy living there who tried to steal his prize possesion... a mint condition 1972 Gran Torino.

THis is now a must-own movie for my DVD collection and I highly reccomend it to everyone.
