G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra: Synopsis

The property is closer in tone to "X-Men" and James Bond than a war film.

the movie is really disappointing, very common story, nothing new.
A 10 minute road chasing scene is fantastic. rest movie is very slow. i really not suggest anyone to see this movie.

As I was researching for more infos about G.I. Joe, I've learned that they made a story about G.I. Joe vs. Transformers. And now, we have a G.I. Joe movie and 2 Transformers movies. Wouldn't it be great if they would make a G.I. Joe vs. Transformers movie?..I think is that it's just a matter of time for this idea to become a real one.

Guys, I have seen it and it was really AWESOME! I appreciate the fierce action scene and I, generally liked the story. The only bad thing for me in this movie is Channing Tatum's acting. He's a bad actor. He's got no emotion and the way he delivers some of his lines is kinda suck but because he's got a stellar co-stars, matched with fierce action and a generally good story, I think this movie will create big bucks in the box office.

I have been waiting for this movie forever! I hope it's made into a franchise because they're are so many stories from g.i. joe that can be told and or combined to form some damn good movies, serpentor, the zartan brothers the list can go on and on while probably really only a couple more before you run out of solid movies

Anybody who says that G.I. Joe is lame was too young to remember it in it's prime. I think it looks promissing - good cast, hot chicks and most importantly Snake Eyes and Shadow Storm. I think the first trailer will show us what we can expect. Like Transformers it is a highly antisipated movie for fans who grew up with the 80's tv show and is being highly debated. Transformers turned out AWESOME. Let's prey we have the same luck with G.I. Joe and give it a chance to prove itself.
