Gi Joe Rise of The Cobra is directed by the god awful Stephen Sommers. The director of The Mummy and The Jungle Book. And Gi Joe turns out to be another addition to Sommers sh*t films. I was expecting a fun popcorn flick. I was expecting that this will be a good summer blockbuster. Like many others this summer, this turns out to be a terrible movie. It has no story devolpment, no charcter development, and the acting is just bad. Real bad. And the dialogue used in the film is corny and stupid. As you can see from ratings I only gave the visuals credit. And I am about to tell why. Watching it on my computer screen, the visuals where without a doubt nowhere near as good as on the big screen. But it still was pretty cool not amazing or spectacular but cool. Better than Transformers 2. This movie comes just a little ahead of Revenge of The Fallen. Although, I hated both of them. Explosions, gun shooting, terrible sword fighting, corny dialogue, terrible acting, and a stupid plot defines Gi Joe The Rise of Cobra. The flashbacks were just so annoying to me that I had to skip some of them. In the flashbacks there were even explosions. I believe that director Stephen Sommers has more explosions in his movie than Michael Bay had in "Transformers 2" only last month. COME ON NOW, You have to throw in a hundred f*cking explosions to make up for a sh*tty story and f*cking terrible acting. Well It didnt work, It made the movie even worse. So Nice job Sommers, you douchbag whor*. The action scenes in GI Joe are just way too long and joyless. I really dont have anything good to say about this movie, so I dont want to waste to much of your time. Im gonna keep it short as is. And make a point, I know Im gonna get bashed by some from this review. People will say this is what a summer blockbuster is supposed to be and you take the movie to seriously. All Im doing stating my opinion about the film. And the film sucked.

    Giant fighting robots, explosions, action scenes, and meagan fox doesnt make a good movie. It makes a pointless one. You need good acting. You need a good story.

    "Better than Transformers 2." Wow. You're a dick. I don't even have to see this f*cking film to tell that it was going to be a sh*t-storm (Stephen Sommers, dude). As well as the fact that the film was not released to critics before release. Which suggests that the film will be very, very bad. At least you could have fun while watching "ROTF" and it was very far from "boring".

    I hated the movie too. The reason why I liked it better than Transformers 2 was because it wasnt as boring (it was boring) and I liked the effects better. Otherwise, I hated both of them.

    I HATED this movie. It was so stupid. I was laughing through the entire movie. A real let down and to anyone who says it was better than Trans 2, you are f*cking crazy.
