As a fan of first person shooters I thought the idea for a movie like this was way overdue. In today's society it seems like a show like this isn't that far off the horizon. Unfortunately I can't help but feel like I've already seen this flick. Then I realized I have. Gerard Butler's, one of my top 10 actors, character should have been named Ben Richards because all this is is a remake of the 80's flick "Running Man". Only with more guns. It had the typical madman trying to run everything, the activists who try to stop him, and the usual love story. It had good action, good explosions and a good plot but it lacked originality and depth.
