Frost/Nixon: Review By thesubstream
I'm not a huge fan of Ron Howard's work. I'm still not a big fan of Ron Howard's work.

The day after or near the day it was released, a dvd of the real Frost/Nixon interviews was released. It seems like a really bad idea to do that. It's like, okay, option A) go to the movies to see the dramatized version for $7.75 (average) plus any concessions which are ridiculously priced, or option B) buy/rent the $7.50 dvd of the real thing. Get the picture? Based on it's intake, about everyone seems to have chosen Option B.
It seems like bad marketing, considering that it's practically a box office flop in comparison to Ron Howard's other greats like "Apollo 13" (1995) & "The DaVinci Code" (2006). That's just me guessing as to why it's not doing so hot right now. "Slumdog Millionaire" (2008) is in the hundred million plus range right now having only been nationally released 3wks ago, and it'll be out on dvd/blu-ray in 2wks. Yet this flop is not making money, and isn't slated for release until April 21st? WTF?
Anyway, I still think it'll be a good movie. Just thought that was something interesting to point out.

I 100% disagree. I gave this movie 4.5 stars I thought it was one of the best of the year. You have a bad taste of movies.

I felt the plot was a little too obvious, it just lolloped along and came to an obvious end. MoviePHD - I'll be looking forward to your reviews ;)

Thanks for your genius review. When can we expect more commentary from you? Perhaps after you get done watching Hee Haw and Barney?
