Fright Night is an odd mixture of horror and comedy.

Not the greatest horror film of all time, but definitely adequate. It's an odd mixture of classic vampire horror stirred in with a little comedy. It's definitely scary, but at times it's pretty funny. A predecessor, if you will, of more modern comedy horror films like Shaun of the Dead and Bubba Ho Tep.
