Friday the 13th: A New Beginning: Review By SCREENWRITER

Okay..i'm just goanna spit it out. This installment is terrible. No offense to the makers but why make a Jason movie with no Jason? It was the stupidest idea and plot i have ever witnessed in my entire life! A Jason imposter? Who cares!? I don't. I mean, the idea wasnt terrible but still far-fetched! Why would anyone impersinate Jason. The guy had a reason but why the hell would he impersinate him when everyone knows that Jason is dead! It made no sense at ALL! I like the "Friday the 13th" series but after the second installment they really just became comedy-slashers. The first and second were dark and ACTUALLY chilling, but once three, four, five and all the sequals after two came out, they just became comedy-slashers. The same thing with Freddy Krueger. The first was darker than ever and scary. Two was dark and scary but still terrible. But when three came out, it became a friggon' comedy-slasher! Why watch a horror movie when its not even a horror. Now, the Chucky movies for example are supposed to be funny. They were never scary or dark. They always had the comedy block. BUT the Friday nor Elm Street movies did not when they first came out. Do you see what i'm saying? This movie was too funny and has TOO much stupidity to be scary. I saw this as a Jason spoof other than a Friday the 13th installment. But THATS WHAT I saw it as. Here is why i disliked "Friday the 13th: The New Beginning"...

ACTING: [SPOILERS]

The acting in this movie is completly HORRIBLE. I've never witnessed such terrible acting in my entire life! The victoms in the movie were just completley dumb troughout the whole movie. And some of the characters were written to be so stupid. I mean, why the hell would a guy chop up a heavy-set kid just because he said he wanted to help. Yea, he said it in an annoying way but COME ON! It was a little ridiculas. And for all the killings and plot of the movie revolved around that stupid part with the Heavy-kid. The movie was just plain-stupid! Literally! So all and all, the movie contains some terrible acting. Thats all i have to say on that.

VISUALS:

I actually found the visuals in this movie to be horrible. I didn't like any of the visuals. They all looked too fake and stupid! What i don't like is seeing the kills happen trough the Jason impersonaters' eyes. It didnt show him in the mask until the end of the movie. Why can't it show the killer slashing the victoms instead of seeing it trough the killers eye every time! It gets boring! Really! All and all, i did not enjoy the visuals in this movie.

Like i said, the story-plot in this movie is 100 percent horrible. So in conclusion, skip this installment. Its the WORST movie sequal ever! I'll say it agian...WHY MAKE A JASON MOVIE WITHOUT JASON?!
