friday the 13th follows a story of teens from the CW getting murdered by jason . pretty simple as that . i just felt they stayed a little bit TOO close to the original 3 films . there really isnt much creativity to be seen here , granted , theres some pretty cool kills but there wasnt really anything new. i think , with a character like jason , couldve done what the halloween remake failed to do , a more dark and in depth look at jason and camp crystal lake . but this is still a very fun and entertaining slasher flick and is a real good movie to go out and see with your friends .

    i do understand that these movies are just for fun, and thats why i love them. but im just saying that jason is a character that i would like to see a more indepth film about. not like michael myers where he is very mysterious. there is already stuff to know about jason, and i would like to see more of that. but like you said, just watch them for what they are, entertainment. and that is what i always do.

    These movies are all about entertaining the slasher flick enthusiast.As long as you don't try to make them to deep and complicated you should enjoy them.
