This was a solid horror remake of a cult classic. Even though technically it wasn't a remake because in the original the mother was the killer. I liked the way the director put in the back story and changed it up just a little bit, ala Rob Zombie's Halloween. The acting wasn't great but made the movie enjoyable. What I mean is that there were parts that you couldn't help but laugh at because of the way the actors portrayed the characters. If you were a Jason fan, then you should absolutely go see this film I feel you would not be dissapointed.
