This is a great tool for any teacher of North Carolina Social Studies, both fourth grade and eighth grade, alike.

Though the banks are not truely the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the story is real. It also teaches our children that ONE PERSON (even a child, especially a child) can make all the difference in the world.

Parents should watch this, as well! It is a great family movie!
