Fired Up: Review By sloog2

Me & my friends could tell we were in for one hell of a good movie when we were already waiting outside the theater for the earlier screening to end and we were laughing at the jokes we could make out from beyond the closed doors! And as soon as we got in- we threw a popcorn fight as the trailers rolled! Now don't get me wrong- the acting wasn't great for a film such as this- but the choice in actors was spot on!

So, this film happens to be about two dudes whom play football and go to this "Football camp" each Summer for training with their stubborn coach who for some reason likes to use the word "sh*t" in every sentence he speaks! Anyways- the two masterminds come up with an ingenious plan, or so they believe it is- skip "Football camp" and go to "Cheerleading camp!"... I mean honestly, you think of this... 300 guys or 300 girls? Yeah, you know what you're dirty little mind just picked! And so throughout this comedy piece, hilarious antics ensue and their evil plan finally does come to an abrupt halt... only to be re-assured about 15 minutes later, no joke intended!

The film follows at a good 94-minute speed and Yes! It does have some minor speed-bumps with dry comedy, but hey it picks up! And of course... their are about 10 film critics who just keep bashing this film, but let me tell you, you judge it for yourself! Just go in not expecting anything but a funny cheerleader comedy with a twist... manly meat sticks!!!
